WASHINGTON ELECTION

Washington State Election: November 2005.

Vote Dammit.

Initiative 900 (More audits): No. Why?: So what if you have an audit? These happen anyway and if you are curious enough the freedom of information act should get you the rest of the way.

Initiative 901 (Clean Air): Yes. Why?: Who wants to walk in and out of a cloud of smoke, not me.

Initiative 912 (Gas Tax Repeal): No. Why?: Washington state needs all the road and bridge help it can get and if I have to pay a few extra cents at the pump, so be it. It's a fair price to pay.

Initiative 330 (Limit Medical Claims): No. Why? Limits non-economic damage claims to $350,000. This cap is too low. The whole thing stinks anyway.

Initiative 336 (More about medical licenses and expert witnesses): No. Why? It seems like redundancy and more bureaucracy. I could be wrong, someone clarify this one.

Senate Joint Resolution 8207: Yes. Just a nitpicky thing, nothing to see here; move along now.
